Good little takeaway, we have used for a year or so now when we are up that way. Loads of choice, not expensive, good portion sizes and quality was even better this time. Keep up the good work Parking: Street parking available outside
Literally never had a bad meal from here. Staff are always super polite, the food's always hot, and most importantly for a place like this, the foods not overly greasy. We travel pretty far to get it because we love it so much
Have given this takeaway too many chances. No more. Its the worst Chinese food I've ever had plus a black hair on the side.
Always used this takeaway, unfortunately the service recently had been disappointing. Delivery person can't close our gate! Which is a security issue for us. Although they do manage to open it! After many years of loyalty we will now be looking elsewhere! Also, always order the same dish, sometimes get extras sometimes don't! Takeaway don't seemed bothered at all. Disappointing!
We often order from here when staying at our caravan. Duck pancakes are delicious and a plentiful portion. Chicken Batter balls always tasty, well crisped batter. Peking sauce has an almighty kick, we love it. Only negative is the gravy is a far too salty for our liking, but thats a small thing when everything else has always been so good
We visited amble on a short holiday and used the Tast of China twice. The food was superb, piping hot and staff were very nice. What more could you want. 5 stars +.
Pleasant and prompt service. Unfortunately the food was ghastly. Only ordered chips mushroom and gravy. When I got it opened, it looked like someone had blasted it with a blowtorch...all blackened. If I didn't know better, id have said it was stuffed in a polystyrene tray and microwaved for far too long. Got my money back and lost my appetite!
Had a meal from here tonight and couldn't fault it. Great taste, good size portions with plenty of meat and veg. Ready for collection at the time they stated and staff very friendly. Would recommend.
Ordered bbq ribs was given gravy ribs, took them back to be told they were bbq ribs but their sauce was very dark LOL ordered sweet and sour ribs instead to be told they would be much smaller. Opened them to find 6 ribs not much bigger than my thumbs and a carton full of carrot,tomato and peppers. Would not recommend
Not great. One of the meals we ordererd was chips, sausage and gravy. It came mixed with peas and onions and the gravy looked take tar and appeared to be black bean sauce.
