Nearly fell over when she told me the price – and that was for takeaway – eat in was even more!nFirst lady was extremely friendly.nThey served my food in four individually wrapped parcels so I asked for a box and this woman looked at me with indignation.nThe plan was to eat my food in the car. How else was I supposed to do it? Everything was wrapped up in a separate bag.nnChips tasted really, really good, but the portion was small for a regular - and at that price.nnCurry sauce was not for me, it should be chip shop and not Chinese style but maybe that’s how they do things here up north???nnThe chips were good so I would go again, would just be more prepared.
Had two meals here in the last couple of weeks, one as take out, the other to eat in. Their fish and chips are really, really good. Huge portions, fresh fish cooked perfectly, really crispy batter. I only wish I lived closer!
One of the best fish and chips i’ve had. Small meal deal was good value and plenty of food. Only gripe would be the plate is small making it hard to eat without your food falling off!nnDefinitely will be visiting again when in the area.
We have a takeaway from here of 2 large cod and 2 chips. The cod was lovely and fresh, cooked to perfection! The chips were also very good. Only slight issue was I wouldn't say the cod wasn't large more on the small side and their wasn't many chips either. I guess im used to ordering a small chips at the chip shop and still getting a fair amount but they're definitely small here £9.20 for the cod, £2.50 for the chips, we would return as everything was so tasty.
