This a good place to go with family for a picnic and a good little cafe and shop If you go by car you will after live your car at the car park. And walk in to wycoller it self But it is a nice walk for the family

Wow, what a discovery! This cafe is wonderful. It has a great range of cakes and coffee in traditional surroundings - complete with a range. My daughter loved the Maltese cake. The gift shop is lovely too with lots of well priced gifts, books and sweets. This cafe coupled with the picturesque village with the hall ruins, information centre, duck pond and bridges makes it a perfect destination on a Sunday afternoon. There are no cars allowed in the village but we had a lovely short walk down from the dramatic Atom sculpture above. We be back soon!

Visited today- we love Wycoller as a family with a 6 year old and a 3 month old baby we manage to find ole try of walks/ rivers and old ruins. However today we visited the cafe and decided to order 2 X soups and a couple of drinks. After about 15 minutes we both thought our soups would have arrived. Both being very polite we waited a bit more, then realised we had waited over half an hour for soup. We then asked at the counter and they had " forgot " our order, very poor considering they must of had about 5-6 members of staff who all seemed to be more interested in checking messages on mobiles phones then servicing customers, I guess they can do what they want as it's the only cafe for miles!
