Online order with inadequate packaging and exceptionally poor customer service response. Ordered several packets of Happy Tea Bears for gifts, took one week to arrive, with product packaging split and product loose in parcel, lopsided labels and several item shapes deformed. Not one packet in tact. Unable to gift any. Raised with supplier requesting refund which was refused, no offer to resend. Direct quote of their response "We still stand, the goods were delivered within a reasonable time frame, maybe not to your high expectations, you obviously don't work with the general public, otherwise you may understand the mailing system. All the goods arrived maybe not fully packaged as they were when they left our warehouse but none was missing .Thank you for your order ,you obviously have plenty of time on your hands to write lengthy emails from your iPhone." Reordered from Hebden Tea company, arrived within 2 days, boxed and in higher quality packaging, labelling and fresher looking tea bears. Obviously won't be using this supplier again and cannot recommend for online purchase.
Had the artisan afternoon tea with my husband today. The service was very good, the ladies were very friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was full of delicious sandwiches and cakes. We will definitely return
I loved this place and the only question I have is why I didn't visit sooner. There is a wide range of teas and home made cakes out of which my favorite is the selection of three of the cakes of the day. The food is home cooked and the frittata I had was really tasty. They've recently opened up a Mad Hatter's Tea Room for kids and it's an absolute gem. It's a real shame my pictures don't do it justice! The two ladies who run it are absolutely lovely and it's well worth a visit. The only thing to bear in mind is it's tiny. Also if you're after the Bettie's experience this is the polar opposite and all the better for it.
Teas to Please is a lovely friendly place, charming decor and helpful staff! A vast assortment of loose teas to choose from and a very good, new, selection of hot vegan food on the menu too! 10/10 for that alone, nowhere else in Colne offers hot vegan options!
A beautiful afternoon tea, served by lovely Paula & her Daughter, we thoroughly enjoyed the assortment of the Afternoon Tea food, a lovely venue & good service. Teas to Please is a place that I can recommend.
What a lovely little tea room, the breakfast was delicious we had the grilled halloumi on rustic toast it was fantastic value too. The man and lady running it are so polite,freindly and knowledgeable regarding their huge selection of teas I will make it my first port of call whenever I visit the area. The cakes are beautiful too.
We had a wonderful experience yesterday at Teas to Please. I booked an afternoon tea as a surprise for a friend and it did not disappoint. It was exceptional, lots of lovely sandwiches and around 8 different cakes each!! The 2 lovely ladies couldn't do enough. Safe to say we packaged up our left overs to enjoy at home. Definitely Definitely recommend and I will be back.
Absolutely lovely, food great quality and the variety of teas is amazing. We had a complimentary lullaby tea which was beautiful..I would not hesitate in recomending this place to anyone staff are friendly too. An overall wonderfull experience and you can book A Madhatters Teaparty too.
Your afternoon tea was excellent. Ordered online and the communication from Paula after the email was brilliant. Home delivery was as discussed and my wife and I were really impressed with the selection of sandwiches, savouries, cakes and desserts..we would definitely recommend.
Fabulous tea rooms.popped in today for brew... Lots of choice of speciality teas and good old Yorks and Lancs tea......not a tea bag in sight. Best tasting cakes ever. Freshly made too. Highly recommend....oh and they do afternoon teas to take away too..... lots of quirky teapots too
