Poor counselling service in my opinion I was allocated a student counsellor for long term problems which have been going on for 50 years. When the going gets tough the tough get going. To add insult to injury I was dropped by my counsellor via text message couldn't even tell me to my face absolutely disgusting
The volunteers and the staff were very helpful to me after I suffered a leak at home. They let me use their facilities and I have had a food parcel from them whenever I have needed to have one. Thanks very much for all of the work that you do xx

Took my boys for lunch during their kids eat free campaign. Was great. Boys loved thier food and staff couldn't have done more to help. Kid-friendliness: The staff were superb with my kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible by wheelchair if required.
Really good food and meals are cheap, I only had to pay £2.50 for my main meal of pie, potatoes and vegetables. It was only £1 for sponge and custard, also a cup of tea was only 50p
Wonderful staff mainly volunteers great food good vibe lot of different groups to join for free a great help to the community of colne they really make a difference to the people who attend for support and a life line for many of us we would be lost without you! Great homemade food so cheap it's a amazing the work they day they deserve a knighthood wonderful job guys I would be lost without you your all stars
The cafe is a little hidden gem with amazing food and very reasonable prices. The staff are courteous and friendly...highly recommend
Visited today for the first time and was welcomed with open arms by friendly people who are genuinely dedicated to helping others in any way they can. I'm looking forward to engaging with them and seeing more of the excellent work they do for the community. Make no mistake, these people save lives. In my case they offered me talking therapy for a mental health condition after my local NHS service decided they couldn't be bothered seeing me or even responding to my calls. The staff here are currently doing the work that Minds Matter Pendle & Ribble Valley should be doing but are too busy playing on their Pelotons and baking banana bread at home whilst still taking the money. Asking for help & admitting that you need help can sometimes be difficult but The Open Door Project make it as easy and accessible as possible. I read a couple of negative reviews but I can only urge you to try again, the team here are really superb. Thank you all.

The Open Door Project is very good for two things one the excellent cafe and two the excellent help you get off the staff for stuff like benefits help and food parcels don't be afraid to use them that's what they're there for to help you
