Great little pub with excellent food. Would definitely recommend, as lovely atmosphere and warm welcome. Thankyou gents for accommodating us with superb service and welcome.
I only discovered the Woolpack a couple of months ago and what a great find it has proved to be. The owners are a very welcoming couple who provide a good range of well kept ales and beers. It's a small and cozy pub with a lovely atmosphere. The food is also excellent - especially the pies. We've sampled quite a few things off the menu and everything has been superb. Great quiz on a Thursday evening too.
Great spot to go if you are in Beverly and want a nice meal/drink very friendly staff and dog friendly
phenomenal! Amazing food went in with two old mates and had the festive burgers and our friend had the whole roasted Partridge10/10 for the food! also the beer was amazing and very well kept. You can tell these guys know what there doing, nothing was to much for the staff to accommodate our needs. amazing selection of real ales on the bar! what more could you ask for?? amazing from start to finish, i dont think anywhere in beverley is doing it like these guys are well worth a visit to the Woolpack! cant wait for the next trip up there.
So I asked last minute whether they could fit me in to treat my mum for Sunday lunch. They moved things around and gave me a small table, we both looked at the menu but we both choose mushroom
A lovely, cosy dog-friendly pub in Beverley with a great selection of drinks and fab food; and goes without saying, wonderful owners!
Lovely cosy little pub with a nice selection of beers. Great for dog owners too.
Aw, I love the Woolpack. Great snug, nice drinkie selection. Admits dogs, great for a post-walk pint or food. Top notch quality old school country pub of the highest order. Friendly staff and local customers. Can't recommend the Woolpack enough if you like this sort of proper pub. Which I do.
Sunday lunch was not brilliant, the vegetables were overcooked and one of our group had a piece of thick grizzly beef.which she couldn't cut. All in all disappointed as we had expected better so we will not be back.
Very enjoyable Sunday dinner in this cosy, traditional pub. The food was very nicely cooked and good value at £9.95 for an adult roast dinner. Our starters of prawn cocktail and carrot and coriander soup were very tasty too. Really liked that drinks and food were table service and our waitress was very friendly. I didn't try any on this visit but there's a good selection of ales on tap. Apart from Nellie's, I can't think of any other traditional pubs left in Beverley. We'll be back to try the weekday menu.
