We had a couple of beers in the Monks Walk Inn, during the Jubilee Bank holiday Friday and it was a lovely, friendly, quaint old place. There was a large selection of drinks and a good atmosphere. The beer garden at the back was nice as well.
WOW,WOW, WOW!!!!this pub is steeped in history and you step back in time as soon as you walk in the door. Original beams, walls, windows and interior doors with the original fireplace from the 1500's make this "a must visit place". A nice wine menu, good choice of beers and coffees are available. The pub runs from one street to the one behind it with a small narrow alleyway in between the pub and the toilets totally original.
Really nice historical pub, fantastic real ales and really well kept. Lovely friendly staff, will definitely be visiting again when I’m up this way.
We had a few beers early evening in the lovely quiet beer garden located at the back of the pub.
An ancient pub but with modern charm. Music on a Sunday night from three excellent gentlemen playing folk in the front room. A very versatile space with outside dining when its warm.
Excellent pub that serves a variety of beers, has guest ales that are worth a try they will let you sample them. Olde world charm with its low beams, it serves food especially platters, the sharing platter is gorgeous: Service is good and quick. The beer garden is good as well with views of the minster.
Always excellent ale, friendly staff and good music upstairs. However top quality doesn’t come cheap
Cracking local, real ciders from Coleman’s Cider Co and none of that fruity pretend stuff. Nice bar with a front room and back room, the latter having an open fire.
A charming, quaint pub with very friendly and inviting staff. The space is warm and cosy too.
Great ambience, great drinks, great people in one of Beverley's most historic locations, what more could you want ?
