Delightful plant centre, especially for our visit that coincided with their Christmas Craft Market. Some lovely products by talented people. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit although we didn't find the tropical house, but perhaps it was closed for the craft fair.
Wonderful community plant shop / garden centre. Staff are friendly and full of knowledge! There is a cafe, a greenhouse, a tropical house, a mini shop, and the larger shop itself. They also regularly host community events, such as free plant swaps / competitions and children's events. A wonderful place to visit. Items are fairly priced and well looked after. There is also a recycling section for plant pots / compost bags / gardening books/magazines / seeds etc.
Absolutely love this little heaven of plants hidden at the back of Woodthorpe Park!nThe plant shop is a wonderful mixture of super helpful staff, high-quality plants, and lots and lots of activities all year around. Been there at Easter, Christmas and most recently they had a dedicated festival for house plants - Just amazing! Oh yes, and it's dog friendly too!
Always loved going to this place as it’s tranquil and highly accessible. Tired of taking walks? Sit back at the cafe for superb drinks and pastries.
Lovely garden centre... could just do with signs showing where it is. We weren't sure we were in the correct place with the massive gates!! The tropical greenhouse is brilliant, and I am looking forward to the new cafe
