Great little bar!! Lots of craft beer to choose from the fridge and some really nice beers on tap. The guy sorry didnt get his name is really friendly and took me through a few beers I might like. Lots of board games and the music was great too. NO DOGS the owner is allergic.
Popped in for social distanced beers and had a great time. Cool selection on draught and loads of cans/bottles in the fridge. Clearly a labour of love for the owner as he is really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about beer. Got snacks with each round too. Will definitely be coming back. Can't wait to see what is on draught then.
A marvellous new addition to Low Lane! Drink a fabulous and very interesting selection of beers, some local and some from further afield like Belgium and Japan. Relax in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere surrounded by the smart and modern decor. Had a nice chat with the owner too and he seems passionate about creating a nice place for the community to have a few quality drinks and chill. Can’t wait to go again!
Brilliant little micro pub. Owner has an extensive knowledge of the beers on sale and makes some good recommendations. A must try if you are in the area.
I've been going here on a weekly basis after discovering not only do they supply amazing beer from around the world but they will sell it freshly poured from the tap. The beers on tap change weekly so you'll always come back to find something new. The friendly owner's knowledge will always set you on the right track to something you wouldn't have otherwise considered. This place has really made the weekends just a bit better whilst not being able to go anywhere. I feel like I've been given a glimpse into other countries such as Japan, Germany and Spain through their distinctive beers.
Good songs, variety of beers and nice staff
Excellent selection of Belgian beers alongside a well stocked range of Japanese craft beers. The beers on tap rotate as per what is in at the time but often includes at least on Belgian beer and often Hitachino Nest beers from Japan, to get these on tap in England is a real rarity especially up north! Before moving to Japan I often visited this micropub and bottle shop to stock up on great beers from Japan, America, and Europe. Would definitely recommend a visit, staff are always friendly and knowledgeable.
Walked a fair distance to sample the admittedly fine ales on offer. Having a dog meant I couldnt even get in the place. A VERY small sticker on the door said my lad wasn't welcome. Your loss. The bonkers thing was the place was empty 3pm Saturday. Lad behind the counter looked utterly bored. I get it's the owners decision and quite within his right not to allow dogs. I don't agree and more annoyed there is no indication on the Facebook page. Edit - found another review saying the same.
Great beer..good atmosphere
Great little pub, they always have a great selection of different beers and the staff are lovely. The atmosphere is really chilled and nice and they even have little board/card games you can play
