As car parks go, this one is solid. We laid £4.60 for 3 hours using the JustPark app. I highly recommend downloading it as we needed to add additional hour which we could easily do via the app. Beats the panicked rush back when the time is almost up.nnAlso, there’s toilets there - handy when you have 3 kids - and there’s plenty of spaces.nnIt’s roughly a 5 minute walk to the Dinosaur museum, then another 5-10 minutes down to the beachfront. Sure, it’s a bit of steep walk, but it wasn’t too bad and we had 3 kids under 7 with us.nnI’m not usually one to get aroused by car parks, but this one is solid.

Be very mindful of the length of any campervan. We were a few mm over the 4.8m limit and were warned by warden that we may well get a fine. Check your lengths!!

It is supposed to be a paying car park, but actually paying is a real problem. We now have numerous apps on our combined phones, but the problem lay with the machine, or more precisely, the plastic window on the front. This is the bit that tells you what to do!nIt has failed and become very misty. Combine this with some sunshine, and following the instructions becomes almost impossible. I am happy to pay, but let's make things a bit easier and faster please. The quicker I get into the town, the  more time I have to spend money??

Pay machines can be a bit tricky.nQuite a short and steep walk back to the car park, so if you have mobility issues it may not be for you.

Arrived early and got a parking space straight away. Used the Just park app to pay for parking and only a short walk from the beach & shops
