Great location to park in Lyme Regis close to the museum, beach, shops and the mil all within a few minutes walkl. Its a plus to visit during the winter as the car parking is pretty cheap £3.50 for about 3 hours. Loads of spaces here and on the corner as you enter there's a Creperie that serves really nice coffee.
Central parking although a bit limited to say the least, only 19 spaces with another 3 sealed off and have been for years and years due to land slippage ?nWalk down to the clock tower and beach or cut through to the high street or down the steps to the mill and brewery bar.nGetting a spot is either down to personal luck or patience! We are always lucky here but I see many others having to do a 20 point turn to get out again and look for somewhere else to park.
If you drive a 2 ton SUV, don’t have very good clutch control or cannot reverse then I would suggest you don’t use this car park. It is small, on two levels and the bays are just big enough for a standard car. I witnessed drivers trying to park and waiting for bays that looked to be becoming empty and just generally making a mess of things. Other car parks are available in Lyme that would be easier for you.
Tiny car parks, narrow spaces. So near the town and beach but you need to get there quite early in the morning. The town is lovely and very quaint so doesn’t lend itself to having large car parks to accommodate everyone.
Very very tight, so can become a nightmare to navigate and get in and out of spaces. Can use Just Park
