Took my puppy into woodlands to be spayed. I am really happy with the care that Bella received. She was very nervous when she went in but the receptionist was very helpful and took the time to make Bella feel comfortable and helped her feel more relaxed. They went through the procedure and answered all the questions that I had got. They kept me updated on her progress. Her operation went well and the aftercare has been brilliant. Thank you again for taking such good care of her.
Visited the Burbage site have used these for many years. All the people are lovely and Jenny has seen us at short notice and has a genuine love of the animals she sees. Very reasonable on price.
Absolutely awesome vets. My dog wouldn't be here without these wonderful people! Words can't express how grateful I am. Always ready to help and they clearly love animals. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart!
Very helpful. Good customer services . We were sending dogs internationally. Helped us a lot. Lack of information is the only down side but I suppose because we were flying to the place they weren't familiar with.
I've been a customer over the last 16 yrs and I can honestly say the care and attention they give to my pets is first class .. I've used Bedworth practice and burbage after moving property , I would recommend to anybody .. So it's a big fat five stars from me
After bringing my puppy to this vets for advice as she had a little bold patch on her neck. The vet was a young man who no longer works there! Well he said to me I will need to scrape the back of her neck He then took my puppy away to another room, he then brought my puppy back to me at this time my puppy had three big shaving spots on her body I couldn't believe it he never said he would take that much hair off my puppy which I must add is a blue stuffy which cost me £1000 I want to show my puppy at croft. I was in shock from it he told me that she has mites which is attacking her skin he said he will give me some advocate to take home I then when to pay for this and the very young girls at the reception couldn't find the details of the advocate for me I told her just to leave it I wanted to get out of there. She then said that will be £90.90 my mouth dropped nd said what for she said well you have had ur puppy shaved but the vet never explained to me that I will need to pay for each shaving so unprofessional I payed and came home. My husband went it and asked why the vet never explained any of this to me the vet lied and said he did tell me! Anyway days passed nd my puppy hair loss became more nd more so we nip in and asked what should we do they said just carry on using the advocate and come in when that's finished. So we went back nd this time we was seen by another male vet who took us into a dirty looking room he said yeah it looks like the skin is very infection nd the hair hair loss is very bad which we said well yes we tried to tell the reception girls this but they told us to wait till the advocate finished. He kept stuttering he said I need to go and phone my manager bear with me I'll be back in one minute he came back with some excuse about some sort of shampoo we could give the puppy he then said bear with me I need to go back and so my manager. He came back with a book and showed us a picture of a mite. He again said bear with me I need to go back and speak to my manager on the phone we waited he then came back and said we can wash your dog in the bath at the vets in the shampoo and that will cost £200 per bath me and my husband are so angry so disappointed feeling so sorry for our puppy. We feel that I'll Puppy has been let down by this vets and that her skin condition could've been resolved the first time I took my puppy to the vet. He then said we would like £15 today what ever for I don't no. Showing us a picture of a mite. People please be aware about these events I don't even think they know what they're on about. I will be taking this further and I will get justice for my puppy.
Unfortuantley I won't be returning to this practice for various reasons I will try to go into. Firstly I don't think complaints are handled very well by the manager and owner, on one occasion I was advised to contact the Bedford branch, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful and refused to put me through to the manager. This is the icing on the cake for why I will no longer use this practice. 1 They don't put the batch sticker labels from the vaccine bottles on the vaccination card, when I asked the manager why this was they stated it was for fraud reasons, after speaking to Merec they said there are no such concerns with fraud and practices usually apply the stickers to the vaccine card because it limits the chance of human error writing the batch numbers wrong *the vaccine cards are written with terrible hand writing and it's almost unreadable with the breed of my dog misspelt. I can't understand why they don't stick the vaccine stickers in the vaccine cards as is standard practice among the veterinary field. My current vet stated a practice may do this if they aquire their vaccinations from a questionable source, I'm not saying they do this but it makes you think. 2 They are very secretive of the back of their practice. When myself and my aunty had animals ultrasound at the practice we was not allowed to go with the animals because no one is permitted but I wonder what they have to hide. My new vet gave me a tour of the practice including the operating theatre and I was very happy to know where my pets would be when I'm not around. 3 I refer to the Hinckley practice here their hygiene is questionable, their skirting boards are very dirty and black and haven't been cleaned for quite some time I have photographic evidence, also in the car park there are patio doors which are dripping with condensation which again isn't appropriate for a place doing surgery. Damp must be a concern. 4 Continuity. You always see different vets, they seem to come and go very often. Not helpful when you have to keep explaining the same thing over and over. 5 Prices, they initially appear cheap but when other than their vaccines, microchip and neutering which is undeniably cheap their medication are more expensive than my current vet. When I discussed a prescription before they said they would charge a fee per item not per prescription as is usually standard. i once asked one question regarding my other animal as was surprised to be charged a consult fee, as stated if I was having a consult I would have asked more and actually had the animal examined. I paid under protest. I am now using a more expensive vet but the quality shows, I think the saying you get what you pay for rings true with this practice and sadly I can't recommend it to anyone. I think it has the potential to be a fantastic practice but the fact the management is ignorant to its clients and doesn't take criticism well speaks volumes. You will have no issue here at this practice until something goes wrong, then you will see how badly run and unprofessional it really is.
Been taking our cats here for years, can't complain very helpful staff everything reasonably priced and always seen to pretty quickly
Took bonnie our beagle as she was unwell. Sam and sarah took great care of her . She has now recovered due to the prescribed treatment
Friendly place and approachable staff. God bless them for helping us to look after our beloved pets!
