Story

Woodies Ale House is a great meeting place, catering for everyone from 18 to 80. For the sports fan we have two Sky boxes enabling us to show two different events at the same time, bringing the game to you. With the pubs strong boxing following we often stay open late to screen the box office events. For more traditionalists we have at least 12 real ales available, ensuring there is something for everyone in this friendly pub.

A brilliant time. Really good covid precautions. Very friendly atmosphere. Only 1 complaint however.......portions too big for the wife and I had to eat her chips.....lol PS thanks Liv
4pm and the place was packed with people enjoying themselves, full of laughter and people dressed in fancy dress, service was good considering the amount of people at the bar and the bar meals were of a good standard. Liked the little flower pots on each table, nice touch.
Nice food, nice environment, a bit daunting when there are more staff than customers though, as much as I appreciate why that's the case.
