Went to visit my friend at Leeds university classic student pub good food with reasonably priced drinks.

It's a spacious yet standard inner city pub. Greene King brewery affiliated, there's a large bar, sports and a large selection of beers though my cask ale was slightly off I suspect. It'll be busy if the sports on. Sadly beyond this I'd call it nondescript, it lacks character but is a good place to watch the football with a pint.

Place to visit nice atmosphere For the young and old.

This is a really nice pub. We went on a Sunday and it was nice and relaxed and not too busy.  The drinks are well priced and it was quite quick getting served. Haven't eaten here yet but saw some of the meals come out and they did look very nice.
