Spent the evening at Woodhouse Farm Lodge. We initially thought the cost was pricey at £120 per night considering you have to pay extra for breakfast and use of swimming pool, although having been you can understand why. The hotel is furnished to a very high standard and makes for a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately our room was adjacent to a couple in the bridal suite who came back very late, very drunk and very loud. You may think this is acceptable as it was their wedding night but when it took several other males to carry the chap upstairs and then listen to them while he continued to vomit, shout and cause havoc for 3 hours it ruined our evening and in turn we weren't able to sleep. After calling the out of hours contact number a member of the hotel staff came to remove the non paying guests to give us some peace. After an hour of quiet the groom then woke up and again created a lot of noise disturbing us. We again attempted to contact the staff member as previously but received no response. The following morning we complained at check out and was assured the manager would contact us regarding the issue. As yet this has not happened. I would expect rowdy behaviour at a Travelodge but that is the reason we try to avoid those places as you expect a different clientele! In summary lovely hotel, poor customer service, poor night's sleep with no apology!

Good place for quiet relaxation (apart from road noise A16 runs outside and is busy) . Small swimming pool and hot tub available. Large bedroom sparsely furnished but comfy bed. Breakfast available extra payment. Staff very helpfull.

Hmmm the most bizarre place we have ever stayed It's seems the lights are on but nobody is home It's really strange atmosphere as soon as you walk in You feel like you shouldn't really be there We booked this because we are doing up our own home and we are living in a caravan not to far away from the wood house so we wanted a nice night with a bath etc When we got to wood house we were told we didn't have the room with a bath but we could use one down the hall as the bride and groom who's bath it was wouldn't be bk till late So we did we obviously used the towels that were in the bathroom But got asked for them bk when we went you use the hot tub (obviously the poor bride and groom got to use them after us ) We had to once again ask if they had any bathrobes It seemed we had to ask for everything They didn't even have a mirror in the bedroom I wish I could find the right words to explain this place but I can't it's such a dull and depressing atmosphere to be in Breakfast well Full English and two teas The tea was cold and one teabag in the teapot so weak anyway We asked for some toast Twice The breakfast the eggs were the only item that was warm We even sent it back and still came bk cold We got our toast one slice between us Do I think it was worth £115 to stay No not at all It was one of weirdest places I have ever been in and even though the photos look amazing and it is in some ways But not as good as they make it look The photos look like it's all happy and things are actually open like the bar and the pool But it's not NEVER EVER AGAIN
