We stayed in room 16 - a double in the rear extension of the building. The room was small but comfortable and the shower had plenty of power and was hot. The bed was comfortable and firm. There are no power sockets by the bedside - an endless mystery in hotels - and the WiFi in this room was painfully slow. Despite a slightly lukewarm reception, the rest of our interactions with staff over this Christmas stay was great especially the waitress at breakfast. There is good parking capacity and the parking is more than adequate. The main gripe I have is that the bathroom had a strong smell of damp and there was evidence of black mould on the blind in the room. But for that, if have given a five star review.

Rooms were clean but the bathrooms are very small. Staff very nice and accommodating.

Attended here for a few professional events and I believe that is the best way to describe the hotel, professional. The staff are amazing and the food provided was phenomenal.
