Went there for a Sunday Roast a few weeks ago now. Not as good as expected. Potatoes tasted like they were from a frozen pack. Dessert was better than the dinner, and even then, the portion was rather small. It was my first time and probably my last too. Sorry to say but might help you improve where needed, to bring more customers in.

Small lunchtime menu, but food was excellent quality from local sources. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Quiet village pub atmosphere, very relaxing.

A warm friendly atmosphere. Very welcoming. Sunday carvery delicious. Great food and drink. Good selection of beers and wines.

We took my parents on Mothers Day. Firstly on a positive note the staff were very pleasant but the carvery was so very disappointing. The vegetables although fresh were hard and quite undercooked and the roast potatoes were browned but not crispy at all. My mum and I had the nut roast which was an enormous slice and quite dry and I couldn't say what it tasted of exactly. May I suggest a smaller portion of better quality nut roast and cook the vegetables for a bit longer. The daffs was a nice touch though.

Great food and great drink. Camped on the field overnight and had a jolly time.
