I think this is a good practice. Like all GPs they are under tremendous pressure, in terms of time, demand and costs. But in my experience they do prioritise well. I have never failed to get a telephone consultation with a doctor on the same day when it was REALLY urgent. And I've even had the GP phone ME to find out if hospital treatment is going OK. Booking non-urgent appointments with doctors and nurses and renewing prescriptions online is brilliant. If more people would sign up for this it would take the pressure off the telephone service, which I agree can be awful. With that you just have to determinedly keep ringing.

Im new too this doctors. And so far so good. I haven't been let down. Liking the service I get there very friendly staff

Horrible. Been trying to get an appointment for two weeks now. I stay on the phone for 10mins till it hangs up. They don't even deserve a star.
