Best leisure center I've been to so far. The park is amazing and we absolutely loved the indoor leisure pool, complete with rapids and artificial waves every now and then. The crowd control is good which makes your swim much more enjoyable so be patient if end up waiting in line for a session. It's worth it. There is a little kiosk outside by the park that takes card.

pool is good. decent waves from machine and long rapids. sort out your slides! too long to repair.

As an ex member of David Lloyd down the road I have to say I much prefer this place! Yes DL has more of a 'community feel' but that's the only benefit. Firstly FL is MUCH cheaper and it's much, much better value for money. There are dozens of more classes to choose from and the creche only costs £1.60 per session for members children (compared to £5 at DL). Membership is half the price of DL with double the activities available, more pools available & better more modern equipment.

I've been using the leisure centre almost every week for the last 3 years and it's been fantastic. So far I have played badminton and table tennis but I have observed lots of other activities and I know people who go there for squash, gym, spin class and swimming. I always find the reception staff very well presented and the staff are courteous and polite. By the entrance there are pods so if you are a member you can just swipe in. A one hour game of badminton is £3,80 which is very reasonable. The toilets and [male] changing rooms are spacious and clean, and there are always plenty of lockers. I haven't used the showers but I've seen plenty of guys go in and they seem ok. They used to hire out badminton rackets but I think they stopped doing it for some reason. However, you can buy them from them (I bought two for £20 each). All the sports areas are also very clean and tidy and everything is very well signposted. All in all I've had a great experience and would recommend it for anyone wanting to try some sports or swimming.

This is a great place to go. All staff are helpful and knowledgeable
