Friendly & helpful site owners
Toilets very clean and tidy
The site is tidy and well kept
I travelled alone and I felt very safe
The pub beer was good and the landlord and customers made me feel welcome
I used a local chinese food service who delivered piping hot food promptly to the site gate
The site was very quiet as the weather was awful all over the Easter weekend however there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep and the bad weather didnt stop me walking
All in all, a very nice place to stay. I will return in nice weather

A great, simple site. Well positioned for Nostell Priory and the Wonders of Wakefield cycle routes as well as the nearby lake and visitor center.

Had a great night on the site. The people were all really friendly, especially the proprietor who made me feel extra welcome. Although it was a bank holiday and children were present on site and having a lot of fun, the noise was never disruptive and the atmosphere never less than perfect. 

Had a lovely walk with my dog around the local lake and woods. The toilet facilities were indeed better kept than most pubs and well located. There is 6 amp electricity if you need it and fresh water available at many points throughout the site. Showers aren't present as of yet but they are in the pipeline. Despite constant rainfall the site was completely mud free and very tidily kept. 

Look forward to visiting again, a lovely secluded, no-hassle gem of a campsite. Thank you for having me, Jackie xx
