Great selection of breads and cakes. Good value for money. Try the danishes and Somerset raspberry or apple, they are delicious. Winnies also supply cakes and bread to local markets and business. Look out for there stall at the food festival or local markets.

The bakery has inside a small coffee shop but apart from the polite and friendly staff, both cappuccino & scones where bad.
Cappuccino had over heated milk with no foam at all. Scones was cold like from the fridge and incredible small. My wife laughed when saw it. They have potential so they should train well their staff to provide a standard service.

We were down here for 5 days and stumbled across Winnies when walking around the town so went in and had a cup of tea, the young lady that served us was very friendly and nice and we read the book about the Palour which was interesting. As we were leaving we got 2 sausage roll for £1.80 and a large piece of bread pudding for 95p and a Aussie coconut slice for £1.30 and they were delicious. We went back the next day to have another cup of tea and to get some more sausage rolls but this time we got a fruit rock cake and a venesse slice and yet again they were delicious. So if you ever come to Weston-super-Mare go to Winnie’s it is just up the side of HSBC bank you won’t be disappointed.

We bought some cherry rock cakes, Eccles cakes and chocolate slices from the Winnie's bakery stall at Dairy Fest, Weston-super-Mare last weekend (5 Aug 2017). The chocolate cakes were good but, sadly, we were not impressed with the others: the rock cakes had an unpleasant aftertaste and the Eccles cakes were hard and rather tasteless. They all looked good, which is why we bought them, but we were disappointed.
