I am still fighting to get my money back. I wasn't given an access code and there are no staff to help but on seeing another person's room and hearing horror stories from other people I am glad I never stayed. These rooms are unsafe and should be closed down.

For the price this is a fantastic stopover location to out your head down for the night. Lots of amenities close by and located in the centre of town. Basic room and check-in details texted with entrance and room codes to access. Room had en-suite, towels, bed, kettle and television but have to provide own soap and coffee/tea. Television didn't have remote control and room had an energy saver bulb that provided as much light as a candle so very dimly lit. No WiFi and limited plug sockets made working a bit difficult but pub next door was a good location to sit. Only concern was that the front door was open when arrived and was difficult to close properly when in although room was secure. For the money and room this would get five stars but for the sake of a decent bulb and even some paid for WiFi this was only given a 4. Would definately return again

The bright side was the room rate. But had to compromise on lots of things for it which was not good comparatively as had been to many hotels with the similar rate and better service.

Robbers. Booked a FREE CANCELLATION room and cancelled well within terms in November....... MBNA still trying to get my refund back even though docs clearly state its due and have email stating manager of MJB Hotels will process it. DONT stay here - I stayed at another hotel locally and discovered that Winelodge is used by Social Services as an Emergency Hostel which is not an issue BUT not where I want to stay on a leisure trip..

cheap and cheerful, stayed 1 night, very cheap, very basic, serves a purpose, would I stay again? hell yes, it's cheap, warm, dry, bed, shower, sink, toilet, kettle, chair, wardrobe, pillows, blankets, all clean, so why not, for the money, it was obviously nowhere near as nice as spoons, stayed there many times, but once again, IT WAS CHEAP! oh and did I mention............ CHEAP!
