Ideal town centre location.  Rooms are comfortable and well appointed although could do with a lick of paint here and there. It's a Wetherspoons so drink is cheap and food is good value for money.

First time here, popped in for breakfast and it was brilliant. Everything was hot on the plate, the eggs were cooked to perfection. The only complaint we do have,  and it's not just this wetherspoons, is the fact that the toast is never done on both sides properly. I call it star wars toast as it had a dark and a light side.

I continue to love this business. Its just so honest. Food is good, reasonably priced, you always know what you are going to get and local beers at super reasonable prices. Perhaps the best part of this place is the slick service, plenty of people behind the bar and a lady who goes around each and every table asking if everything is ok. She seems to `know all the people in there and enjoys interacting with the older punters. More like a social club than a pub. Really impressive all round, even the men's toilet is off the scale. Large and there is even a full length mirror in there. How many pubs have that?!

This is the best wetherspoons I've been to. The staff, food, and atmosphere are completely different from others
