Good dispatcher helped me as didn’t know the area, taxi driver took a route that took 3 times as long, we got the exact same taxi at 11pm on a Friday night and was charged twice the price for a midday ride Saturday watch out.

Reliable, reasonably priced, they know the area and they take sensible routes. Can book ahead.

Friendly over the phone, don't take your number so drivers can't phone you when they've arrived. Car was a few mins late, but then so was I.

I used to use these pretty often, never again. There was an occasion recently where I experienced the worst customer service I think I've ever had. The driver i knew was one that is usually unpleasant anyway but on this occasion it was to the extreme. I was running a couple minutes late and had tried to phone the office but it was engaged, when i got in he was very angry, stating repeatedly he was now late. The highlight was when we stopped due to traffic at a roundabout where he banged on the steering wheel in frustration again telling me how late he now was. If I had the time I would initially have gotten out of the car without paying, thats how bad it was. That being said this is just the one individual but a reminder of customer service basics would be beneficial.

Fantastic Customer Service. Their Operator went over and above to arrange a 6 seater taxi for us at the weekend. Would definitely recommend Windmill to anybody who needs a taxi.
