A cafe in a conservatory style space with additional terrace seating. The coffee is delicious.
It looks a nice place to sit and drink a coffee, especially in a sunny day.
I like this cafe and the coffee is decent. Recentlyish, they've stopped serving drinks in ceramic cups unless you specifically request it. I find that sad, given that they have crockery, an industrial dishwasher and lots of customers who sit in to drink their drinks. The whole set-up currently creates a lot of waste from disposable-everything! Perhaps this is just a hangover from covid-times, but I and some of the others who were there would have preferred to enjoy the drinks in cups that aren't instantly binned after use. The same goes for their various high-spec disposable plates they have - seems such a waste of the planet's finite resources.. I'll be back if this gets sorted out!
Nice outdoor balcony area. Staff are polite. The mochas are tasty. My only critique is that it was very stuffy inside.
Garden tea room, nice @time busy, closed on Monday s Teas, coffee, sandwiches, cakes and lots more,
Very nice place, loads of light inside, beautiful lamps and wall decor. Good food, nice coffee and great selection of teas. A little lack of attention to details though thus 4 stars. There is a beautiful terrace with amazing view and we would be coming here much more often if it for example had cushions on the metal chairs which tend to be cold and very uncomfortable even in the summer. Glass barrier of the terrace is a bit too high as well and the metal handrail gets in the way of a lovely view of Lloyd park. But it is a great place to have a snack after a tour in the Gallery and goes very much in line with William Morris spirit
Nice space, inside area small but there is seating outside. Food was reasonable and reasonably priced - typical London prices! About 3.50 ISH for an iced coffee
Nice and airy place with a big window to the garden. The cafe offers hot beverages as well as salads, sandwiches and savouries, toasties and hot soup during winter times. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the service is fast and effective. Totally recommended.
The quality of food and drink here is generally quite good, with the exception of their hot menu, but it's almost impossible to get served here in a reasonable time on a weekend now. The staff and management don't seem to be able to deal with the demand, and even a small queue takes a long time to get through. I've walked out on each of the last 3 occasions and I'm not impatient about these things.
Good food, even better service but with unrivalled views of the gardens of Lloyd Park, especially on a sunny day. The coffee is always good after a trip around the gallery.
