There is plenty of parking and the goats are very accessible. The goats are very friendly and are used to being fed by hand. The carrots we brought were very well received. We shared our carrots with a couple of families with small children and they had a whale of a time feeding the goats. Don’t worry if they poke their heads through the wire fence as they seem to be expert at getting their heads back inside and use the wire to scratch. An excellent stop off suitable for all ages. Just wash your hands afterwards
Don't take carrots. Great short stop but only for half an hour. Everyone seems to take carrots to feed the goats so if you turn up with apple, sweet corn, or something different to carrot you will be a goat hero and they will be straight over to you.
Goats were great and loved attention, after reading reviews we brought baby corn which went down very well with the goats.
Goats very friendly and come when they see you. Grandkids loved seeing them. Very natural habitat for them too.
Car park at side of main road and look out over the hills and maybe see goats. When I was there the goats were far off up the mountainside and barely specs of white in the green vegetation. Good to visit if you are lucky enough to get the goats near the car park.
Close to the Red Deer Range, a stop to see the wild goats is a must. You can sometimes be lucky and they are right at the fence in the car park. Other times, you need to patiently scan the hillside with binoculars till you find them - that’s the joy of wild goats.
a nice place to stop and see the goats. a lot of goats were against the fence waiting for visitors, they aren't as wild as the name would suggest. as with all goats some were fairly friendly and others where boisterous. no facilities on site other than hand sanitiser. if you want to feed the goats bring fruit and or veg. a note from the goats perspective, they don't seem to bothered about carrots. save the carrots or the deer down the road, they love them
Goats hang out near the parking so easy to see. You can feed them vegetables and they are quite gentle beasts. Worth a stop. Bring your own veg. We noticed they will not eat anything that touches the ground but love being hand fed.
Easy parking and a nice bench to sit upon. Other reviewers are wise - the goats are a bit bored of carrots. We fed the ends of our broccoli stalks saving the florets for our tea and they went down a treat!
Nice place for a short visit to feed and see the wild goats. Goats are very freindly and scenery is stunning. Goats love apples. There is no toilets only car park with one bench. Goats ok with dogs as long as they are on lead and under control.
