Been here a few times with friends for food and drinks. We’ve sat outside most times, which is so nice in the summer. We bring the dogs too and there is a water bowl and biscuits available for them. Good food and good beer! Recommend
First visit to have a meal and it didnt dissapoint . Everything cooked to perfection... a generous plate full of food.. was well presented and hot when served. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return . Good value for money and would certainly reccomend.
This was the second time we visited The Wilbraham Arms for our grandsons 1st birthday party which was held in the conservatory and the buffet that was put out was just as good as the meal we had when we first visited the place I would recommend The Wilbraham Arms has the venue is a great to visit with the family or just to chill in great surroundings and a great friendly team that make the place so inviting . Thanks Wayne .
Lovely staff, good pint, food-whoops; steak pie pastry burnt black, some veg cold. Prawn cocktail, plenty of salad, hunt the prawn
Stunningly beautiful steak pie it really was one of the nicest I've had, must recommend
We called today for lunch The welcome by the staff was very nice beer was very good the food was very tasty will be back very soon
Terrible food, decent service. We ordered 2 burgers mine which was a spicy beef burger was surprisingly devoid of any taste. My son had a chicken burger which was inedible as the chicken fillet was bone dry and cremated. Really disappointed as for the price they were charging you would expect a lot better. Hope I just caught them on an off day as the pub itself was lovely and the staff were nice. **Edit having just checked the food hygiene rating of 1 Major improvement necessary Perhaps it wasn't an off day.
Table of 9. Waitress didnt seem interested probably wanted to get back to chatting to the other waiting on staff as they weren't busy. Didnt give any advise to us about portion sizes, We asked for chunky chips and got skin on fries . We asked for 2 of the mushroom starters to not have stilton on them and obviously the kitchen staff hadn't told the server which ones didn't have stilton on, he had to go and ask. Two main courses came to the table an 8oz gammon and a 16oz gammon and the server didn't know which was which just said " 2 gammon" so he had to go and ask again. We then waited a good 5-10 minutes for the rest of the main courses to arrive.
