we’re just going to come for a drink. But soon decided it was worth having dinner. Not disappointed generous portions of fine traditional pub food. Beer was excellent also. Google photos need up dating
Called in at lunchtime today during a walk with my friend and really enjoyed it! A really friendly welcome and lovely decor. We only had a snack but I will come back again for something more substantial.
Wonderful pub we stop in on our way to Barcelona after seeing family. Great service, smashing homemade food and wonderful Robinsons beer. In summer the garden is delightful and in winter the restaurant is cosy and warm. Thank you for making our stay so special.
Well, what can I say, thank you so much for the absolutely amazing food and support, today from Malcolm, Gary and staff. This place is outstanding and I would highly recommend the Red Bull, for their brilliant atmosphere and delicious, and excellent value for money food. I can not thank you enough.
Servers were miserable, chef doesn’t know how to cook steak. It was like eating an old leather boot! Asked for medium rare and it was over cooked and chips were under cooked! Vegetables were soggy, the chicken sauce is like snot and nothing was seasoned. Definitely will not return here.
Lunch and drink here. Enjoyable meal, with quite extensive menus, plenty of choice friendly service and only a short wait for food.
Just had the fish and chips with mushy peas and bread and butter. It was spot on, best battered fish I've had in donkeys. Nice staff and good pint of Madri. I highly recommend and I'm fussy
Great canalside pub. Nice choice of ales and food is well priced, nicely served and tasty. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Will be returning Thanks
Popped in for a couple of drinks. Menu is very tempting. Looking forward to summer and sitting in the beer garden by the canal. Definitely going back soon x
When we got there only 1 table was occupied, we asked if we could sit anywhere and we were told no because we had a dog we had a choice of 2 tables. It was a cold, windy day and they had the fire alight at the end of the pub but they sat everyone right by the door, no one was allowed down by the fire. The service was poor with an unfriendly lady serving. The chips were raw in the middle, the mushy peas were watery and had no flavour and the pie was a cheap frozen one. Not a great experience, we will not be returning.
