Small and friendly. Rooms a bit on the small side and no air conditioning Food was OK but some people finding it difficult to see what they were eating at breakfast as room so dark.
Love the changes that have been made to this lovely old pub. Friendly bar person. Shame the real fire couldn't be lit as it was a cold day. Recommend a visit if you fancy a drink in a quaint and cosy pub.

Lived in alsager for yrs and been here many times. Moved away but been back to the mill a lot love the place. Changed a lot but for the better, staff and service always great. Not stayed or eaten but will next time in the area.
A cosy Sunday lunch out with family, lovely atmosphere, dogs welcome and friendly service. Highly recommend the fish & chips so fresh and the batter was crispy too.
We had a wonderful meal and night Caroline and her staff were marvelous, very welcoming, the dinner was cooked to perfection and the room was warm and welcoming. All in all and great night and I would recommend the Old Mill to anyone.
Would have given 5 stars as the food was excellent but we had to wait an age for it. Really nice staff explained they were new tenants and things were settling in so have no doubts the waiting time wont be an issue soon. Recommend this place to anyone;it's in lovely surroundings and,as said, big wow to the quality of the food.
