Really enjoy going here. It's always very friendly, peaceful and classy. Had the Henry Weston cider. Was lovely. Enjoyed some mussels cooked too perfection for 7.50. Was a big enough person for 3 people. Huge tub. Staff always very attentive. Perfect hospitality
Well what an amazing meal… Service was spot on, even with a Wake happening and it being Easter Holidays. Food order arrived quickly, and portions were unbelievably… The Gammon was almost an 1” thick, and the Double Burger was so so tasty. Will definitely be back next time we visit the area again.
Can't recommend this place highly enough. Everything you want in a traditional pub. Impressive food, decent wine, dog friendly, beautiful building, great decor, special history, and extremely friendly and helpful staff who can't do enough for you. Plus very nicely located for some great walks.
Lovely Sunday Roast after a long walk around Church Lawton. Couldn't fault the quality, service and ambiance. Really dog friendly too. Great country pub
Wow what a building. Stunning. Fab menu. I had katsu chicken main and my partner had a bbq chicken burger. Delish. Friendly efficient staff. Think a Sunday lunch might be our next visit. Dog/pug friendly. Back today 06/11 for Sunday dinner. Gorgeous. Nice gravy and roasties. All the trimmings. Will be booking again.
Lovely place. Good food. Staff really welcoming
Fabulous quality food with a great choice selection and excellent service. Would highly recommend
I have been past the pub on numerous occasions and decided to pop in for a quick warm drink. I was served promptly and drinks brought over to our table. The hot chocolate was delicious. Looking forward to visiting again to sample the local beer.
I booked into the Bleeding Wolf online on a Thursday for a Sunday roast. Be warned that this was too late, this place gets very busy on a Sunday and the only slot I could get in for was 12pm. Upon entering the building the resident chickens scared the life out of my girlfriend which was pretty funny, she thought they were fake as did every other visitor that entered. The service was excellent, everything we ordered made it to the table very quickly. However, this isnt a carvery type place and there were only 2 meats to choose from, the plates are brought out to you with a side of veg. The food was really nice though, but it was slightly on the cold side for my liking. It was a nice meal though and I would go back.
Delightful food and service Lovely play area for children and the free range chucks Often visited by local car clubs
