I wanted a new kitchen for a small rental property, so had a chat with a Wickes advisor - who made no effort whatsoever to sell me a Wickes kitchen!!! He said I could easily spend £10,000, including installation and a fridge/freezer, assuming, of course, I assembled the kitchen myself!!!. Told him I'd been quoted half that for a Howdens, ready assembled kitchen. He wasn't bothered. So I left.

I only bought a bag of grit (Wednesday 18th about 4pm) but too heavy for me to lift into a trolley or int my car. Interacted with 3 members of staff including checkout and all were exceptionally pleasant, helpful, courteous. The store is clean, well lit and spacious. What more can I say. As a retiree doing gardening etc its my favourite place.

Was prepared to spend 400 on slabs and 800 on Artifical grass until one member of staff couldn’t answer a Single querie of mine. With regards to the artifical grass I was informed that you’d come in have a look and feel of the samples then go home and order online whilst there was a massive sign right next to the samples stating to take your messaurments over to the counter and order in store after selecting the type of grass. I took my custom over to B&Q and couldn’t be more happier.
