Don't order from them if you actually want the stuff. Failed to deliver. After calling them and waiting on hold, I discovered that the items were damaged and they just never bothered to tell us. They were entirely unapologetic. The only reason we went with them is so we could have some customer service and talk to a human. Next time we'll go elsewhere.
Didn't delivery when they said they would, then the delivery arrives, the driver is unable to take my purchases off the lorry due to power cables going across my drive. Then has the cheek to tell me if I had ordered from another Company they would be able to delivery as it isn't a stackable offence for them. Waster over a week wait for a delivery that I now need to source from else where. The manager then tells me it will be 5 to 7 working days until I get a refund so more time wasted until I can get this order from else where. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WICKES. A very grumpy disappointed dissatisfied ex customer
PLEASE, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PEOPLE! They have the most dishonest and appallingly bad delivery service, topped up by the world's worst customer service: ordered £400 of building materials to be delivered on a Wednesday as I have installers coming on next Monday. They deliver only 2 items and no word on what happened to the rest. I have to call them and wait 24h for a response. This was yesterday and I still have not heard from them. Materials will obviously not be here on time, which means I'll lose the date with my installers... and I still don't know when they're going to deliver the stuff. Bonus track: i receive something I ordered on 05/25 today, 14th of June. It's a total joke of a company and l will *never* use them again. Don't offer delivery if you can't do it properly Wickes, and train your obviously outsourced customer service a bit better, they are rubbish. Again, do yourself a favour and do not order from wickes. And no, wickes, I'm not contacting you on social media, that's why you have a phone number, just sort it out.
The customer service is the worst I have seen in many years as a consumer for my company in this store. The cashier is an older lady, the way she treats the customer is as if we owe her a favor, I have asked her to buy 15 110mm of underground pipe and without looking at my face he says if it's not there we don't have it, he didn't even deign to look on his computer. When I went to pay and showed him my discount code, he sighed as if I was giving him a lot of work. It's embarrassing to see people facing the public with that attitude, it's better to leave them ordering boxes and hire someone more competent to deal with customers. A trade already dealing n ioff with his customers to have to put up with that when he goes to buy. I'll try to avoid shopping at wickes from now on
Lovely clean and tidy store. Super friendly helpful staff. They didn't have want I needed on the shelf, but I knew they had some in stock from the app. Members of staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Some lovely ideas for bathrooms and kitchens too.
I ordered a couple of small items for pickup at my local Wickes store in Ipswich. I received email with confirmation of the order and if there was an issue with the order I would be informed. I didn't receive any messages, emails or sms to inform me the item was unavailable and had paid for the item, so assumed the item would be there and as I'd already received a text about another item I had ordered, I went to collect them. When I got to the store, I was told at first, the item was not in stock and that they would refund me. So they had charged me for an item they hadn't got in stock and after 5 to 10 mins voicing my annoyance that I had been charged for an item that wasn't in stock, I was then informed by the store manager that the item had been stolen. This really amused me, after being told it was merely not in stock. Outrageous that Wickes are taking peoples money for items they don't have and then you have to wait 5 days for a refund. This was for something less than a fiver, but that is irrelevant. Shocking procedures from Wickes here. Not happy....
Peter who came out and measured up for my new kitchen was great. The design was good, we had to make a couple of changes but that's expected. Now here's the not so good part, the price of the kitchen was ok, but I was shocked actually gobsmacked the fitting price and all the extras, £93.00 to plug a free standing fridge in. No water connection literally to put a plug in the wall socket. £172 to connect my washing machine, put a plug in the wall, hang the waste pipe in a pipe and connect the cold water supply. I could go on but you get the idea. All in all the best part of a thousand pounds for what would have taken 15 minutes tops. Please check your quotes and shop around before buying.... I've saved £2.5k for exactly the same kitchen by using a different company.
I designed my bathroom here and I could not be happier. Peter was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He definitely met my expectations and still went above and beyond them. If I ever have to do a major renovation, will definitely do it here again with Peter!
Placed a click and collect order and processed the payment, amount deducted is deducted from the card. Now almost an hour after the actual pick up time, get a call from The Wickes Ipswich store saying the Shower Rail is not in storeapparently they can't find it. Why is it then , that the Wickes website is showing the item available at this store - at the time of placing the order and making the purchase. Also, why is the call made to the customer an hour after the actual click and collect pick up time ? Was the product sold to other customers without first checking click and collect orders ? This is misleading, unreliable, and extremely incompetent customer service as we rely on Wickes for hardware, bath and furniture fittings. Really really shoddy customer service .
Incompetent delivery drivers. Just had a £260 kerb side delivery driver turn up and tell me he can't deliver my goods due to over head cables. He wouldn't even drop it up the road. We've had thousands of deliveries at this business address. Including previous deliveries from wickes! They Cancelled my order and refunded me. Considering I paid £30 for delivery you would expect a better service from such a big company. I'll be taking by business elsewhere.
