A great department store with an excellent variety. A great place to get inspired for gifts or outfits. Lots of makeup, perfume, clothes and much more.
I love shopping here, the men's collection is great and stylish and often have really great things on sale. Staff are always friendly at this store and happy to help. The cafe is also a nice place to relax after a hard day's shopping. There is a foreign currency exchange on the top floor as well.
Well laid out across all floors. Many different departments with good quality goods. Nice Costa coffee shop when you need a short break from shopping. I bought my this year's Christmas jumper. Classy!
Got my wife's birthday gift, I was in and out no worries about bumping to people all Saftey rules. She loves this item called "Happy". The young lady even gifted boxed it....fellas no fuss.
One of the few places left in town worth a visit. I do wish they'd break up the makeup and perfume counters that have been in the same places since the 80s and mix it all about a bit. At least that way you wouldn't suffocate when entering the store.
The men's department is well set out making it easy to find particular items of clothing. There are many good brands which provides a comprehensive selection to meet most requirements. However, it is sometimes difficult to find a member of staff if you need assistance.
Went to look for clothes with my granddaughter, we came away with a few items my granddaughter was delighted. They had some promotion on about paying your parking, but you needed to show the ticket, well the ticket was in the car, so I wasn't impressed with that !! Did they think I should have taken a photo of my parking ticket just in case they had some promotion on!? Stupid.
Store is generally good however the cafe was woefully inadequate. The staff were uninformed and unhelpful. In addition the food was mediocre at best. As for the rest of the shop it is exactly as you would expect Debenhams to be. The lift in the store is a little on the small side and seems to take an age to move from floor to floor.
Hate the place. Theres no staff to help you with there over priced goods. I looked at a coat £60 before a sale in the sale £80. I took a picture when it was 60 quid not in the sale . In sale more. Shut the place or sell goods at affordable prices with staff who do not have there noses up there bums
Had a new watch strap last year and a bit has split so went in to see if it was covered in guarantee, it wasnt thats all the bloke said and then turned he's back to me. Shame cause i was going to ask him to change the strap again. Never mind went elsewhere and recieved lovely customer service.
