I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jon Whittall Garage Services for a pesky issue with my car's indicator, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of wonderful. Jon himself is an incredibly friendly and approachable guy. It's so easy to strike up a conversation with him, and it's clear he has a passion for what he does.  What really stood out to me was learning about Jon's extensive experience in the industry and the fact that his daughters are part of his team. It's quite refreshing to see female mechanics in the garage, and it speaks volumes about the inclusive and welcoming atmosphere Jon has cultivated.  The team was quick to diagnose and repair the problem, ensuring I wasn't left waiting around. They called me promptly to let me know my car was ready for collection, which I greatly appreciated. Plus, the price they charged for the work was incredibly reasonable, making the whole experience even more positive.  I wholeheartedly recommend Jon Whittall Garage Services to anyone in need of car repairs. Their fast, friendly, and efficient service truly sets them apart. I had major engine troubles with my 85k miles car that another independent had charged me over £350 pounds for partial repairs but told me that because it was probably a head gasket there was nothing they could do.  What they didn't tell me was that no one does head gaskets for Vauxhall Astras!  They then had the cheek to then offered to 'recover' my car for £150 to another local garage of my choice!  I declined their offer but instead filled up the coolant reservoir with tap water as they had let this run dry, and drove my car the short distance to Jon Whittall.  Jon advised against a head gasket replacement but said he would have a look and do what he could.  Jon made £350 worth of additional repairs which have kept the car running satisfactorily for approx. 1000 miles and counting.  My car also passed its MOT that week different MOT centre.  The water leak has been improved from catastrophically bad to a manageable once a fortnight top-up of a cm or so, which has bought me valuable time which which to look for a new car whilst I still have a working car to go and visit dealers in!  Thank you Jon!

Jon was great, rang him with a warning light on my dashboard. He couldn't fit me in that day but told me to fetch it down and leave it with him for a couple of hours which I thought was fantastic as I had things to do so could drop it in at a convenient time to me . I left my car with him went back in a couple of hours and it was all sorted. Amazing service. Thank you.

Had great service from this garage. We developed a problem with our vehicle and they were the closest mechanic. Jon arranged for one of his mechanics to look immediately. Sean realised very quickly that our wheel was dangerously loose. He was great - fixed the problem, checked all of the other wheels. Thank you, excellent service

Nothing but a great service - I cannot recommend John enough. He's to the point but likes to do things right. I've had some difficulties with certain garages before but felt completely relaxed and comfortable here. Will not go anywhere else from now on. Great service and always tries to move things around to help out! Great Man!

1 star is too many!! Called to sort a time to take my car in for a quote on welding and could hear the Boss mouthing off in the background about 'just having to leave it here & go away for an hour' - I do work which is why I was trying to confirm a date/time but listening to what he was saying I ended up saying don't bother I'll go elsewhere!! Shocked & Disgusted.

Expensive and never stamped the service history book deliberately just because the previous year it was unstamped???? Not helpful when your explaining your car has been serviced every year. Use someone else.
