A bit rocky at first as bike tech is clearly back of house for a reason IE he's grumpy! and I wasn't contacted re what needed doing before doing the work, but Des in store was fantastic, really helpful and sorted out the couple of glitches straight away and without fuss. Great service. Cheers Des and Halford!
We bought a bicycle for our granddaughter’s fifth birthday. The gentleman who advised us, Des, could not have been more helpful, & we looked forward to coming back & collecting her bike. It was to be her first proper bike 16” wheel, butterfly design, & we were as excited as she was to get it. We would have been happy to give a 5 star review, & certainly want to for Des, however on collection day we encountered Alex, who almost spoiled everything with his discourteous manner. Alex was serving another customer when we arrived & informed us of this in the rudest possible manner. Fortunately Des saw us & saved the day with his friendly & professional intervention.
Dropped off brand new bike bought from Halfords as gears did not change, picked it up when told it was ready only to find they had not fixed the issue at all. Also told which size bike to buy but it is definitely too small and unfortunately I waited too long to contact them and even though only used once I was unable to return it.
Just a shout out to Rich who helped me on various occasions to sort out a car seat for my daughter. The customer service was excellent and made me want to purchase a seat from Halfords instead of a competitor.
Kathy and Leyton were brilliant - really helpful when we drove in with a battery problem. Tested, battery replaced, we drove away fully working and happy. Really friendly, efficient and technically strong
A very helpful assistant helped guide us through our purchase of an Ebike for my wife arranged a test ride for the day and didn't mind all the questions we had. We are now very happy owners of an Ebike.
I first spoke to Alex at Truro Halfords to ask if he could help with my wife's bike. He was very helpful with all his information and said I could take the bike in which I did. I arrived 30 minutes later to find Alex who took the bike off me and proceeded to get to work. After about 20 minutes it proved to be a bigger task than first thought so he asked to keep the bike and then advised me of the service options and annual Service plan. He called me two days later with the bike fully repaired and almost like a new machine. Alex was not only helpful but very knowledgeable and also very friendly. A top job by a top guy!

I went in to get my headlight sorted The guy fixed it after a 10-minute wait, no biggie. He was very helpful All the staff are friendly and helpful, I set up a Halford account so got a discount on all my purchases!! I'll get my £5 off next time I go in there And I get a discount on my next MOT and a free 10-point checkup! I have my driving test in a few weeks and was able to buy an extra rearview mirror for the examiner and a holder for my phone for my satnav! We've used the truro branch several times and never had a negative experience
Brilliant Service Alex did more than needed,excellent in every way.Thank you.Also the lady in Bike shop/repairs couldn`t have neen more helpful. 10 out of 10 from me!
