Proper pub. Not a menu in sight. Selection of guest and craft ales. Craft and mainstream larger. Ciders, wines and spirits all there too. All kept superb. No kids, no teenage groups. Friendly local pub that welcomes everyone who appreciates the 'proper pub'. Quite in the week except the after-work 5 o'clock regulars when it's quite buzzing especially Friday. Thursday, Friday and weekend evenings always busy but with a lovely atmosphere.

The White Swan is an old school social pub with room to stand and sit in equal measure, smoking area/courtyard at the back, reference books, all local takeaways in walking distance, cash point 10 yards away and mustn't forget, faultless real ale!!! Always a couple of guest ales on, a superb couple of regular beers and kept to the highest standard, no frills but clean, traditional and a great stop to relax and chat with your friends and locals.
