We went here for a coffee and stayed for brunch.nThe venue was busy with patrons, but was definitely not over crowded and enough tables. Brilliant atmosphere. Clean and unique in decor.nThe waitress that tended to myself and my partner was very attentive and friendly. Not pushy to make sales and recognition of wanting to relax was highly appreciated.nWe had the fish cod and chips with mushy peas which we changed to garden peas.nnThe meal was well cooked and was hot and fresh.nnA definite return will be on the cards.nnA huge thank you to the lady waitress that served us.
Lovely farm cafe that we stopped at on way to drop off at Bath university. Excellent food and very big portions. Fish and chips with light fresh batter and succulent cod. Ham egg and chips. Glad only had a cheese scone and coffee so I could help the others. Will definitely become a regular stop for us. Very welcoming staff and service.

Tad pricey. Only had drinks, so can't comment on the quality of the food. My coffee was okay, but my friends tea looked like dishwater.nWas with three friends and had coffees. They then decided they would like more drinks so I went to the till area to order. A lady was talking to her colleague and ignored me completely whilst she was having a rant about another member of staff and an issue with a piece of cake being taken to a table when it was her job to do this. I always struggle with this type of behaviour, as it's a very bad reflection on the establishment. It would have been far more prudent, if she or the other member of staff had halted their conversation after they had served me. It was probably a couple of minutes, but felt like much longer and made me feel uncomfortable, tonsay the least. Chucked the bill away and didn't notice the staff's names, but the lady who was complaining to her colleague had a very neat blonde bob hair cut. Lovely setting, but unlikely to re-visitng because of my experience there....
It’s a great place for breakfast and lunch - just be careful of portion sizes when ordering - they’re HUGE! Friendly staff, most of whom are long term employees so it must be a good place to work! Lots of happy times there with family. Recommend!
