So sad to hear this bridal shop is closing because it has been a pleasure to find my dress with them. The store itself has a beautiful boutique feel, and the lovely lady I wish I remembered her name was so kind, knowledgeable and made a suggestion for a dress that ended up being more than I wanted. She took photos as my mother wasn't able to attend and gave me so much helpful advice. She hired a high-end seamstress for the adjustments that need to be made. I couldn't fault my experience here and would definitely have shopped here in future for formal dresses if it wasn't closed. If it is still open now, I would recommend having a look.
White Rose was the second bridal shop I visited for my dresses. I had not been pleased with service In the first shop. I first telephoned the store to discuss colours and the lady could not be of more help as I was originally going to purchase on line. After much thought I visited the shop and was overwhelmed by the service from the ladies in the shop they were very helpful with colours and styles for my bridesmaids. I then returned to look for myself and once again was so pleased by the ladies help to find me the perfect dress. I didn’t feel rushed or embarrassed trying dresses on as I don’t have “the perfect figure” they made me feel very comfortable and was very attentive. I would recommend White rose to any future bride. Such lovely ladies who really know there stuff when it comes to the perfect dresses. Thank you White Rose keep up the good work.
Although we didn't find the perfect dress for our bride she is rather picky! the whole experience at White Rose was great! The owner offered to come in early just to fit us in at short notice, she had a lovely range of dresses, and looked after us with great care and attention.
I cannot recommend White Rose of Stafford enough. Sarah has been absolutely amazing! I was made to feel special from the first moment I stepped in the shop with no pressure at all. It's a must for anyone looking for that dream dress everythough you may not have a clue what style dress you are after... White Rose of Stafford are there to help. Thank you so much for making my experience one I will never forget xxx
Went in yesterday to have a look at bridesmaids dresses and they're so beautiful. £150-250 was a bit over my budget as I'm having to buy 7 but if you only have a few bridesmaids definitely go in and they'll help you get the perfect ones. The lady in there Sanchia was so helpful and kind and takes the stress out of shopping. I had already brought my wedding dress but if I hadn't I would have brought one from there because they are stunning! Lovely shop xo
The staff were very friendly and helpful didn't pressure my daughter into something she didn't want dresses there are absolutely stunning I've been to some bridal shops and they have been grotty but this place is highly recommended. In the end my daughter bought her dress from here
Maybe I caught her on a bad day. I made an appointment as requested and arrived on time. This was the first wedding shop I’d been into and I was very open minded about styles. I had tried on four dresses but when I hadn’t shown a definite preference the lady behaved very impatiently and said that I ‘should have an idea by now’ which made me feel belittled. This was the FIRST SHOP I’d been into and I’d been very quick in the changing room so it wasn’t like I was wasting their time. I was then told that I had the ‘wrong figure’ for a particular dress I’m a size 8-10. Irrelevant of your size, when you’re going to spend over £1500 on a dress I think the assistants should have a few more go to phrases to use that doesn’t make the customer feel in the wrong - ‘I think this other style does more for you’, or ‘this dress isn’t showing you at your best’ - anything! Me and my Mum left feeling very disappointed, the service really put a dampener on the experience. However we went onto have a much more enjoyable and personable service at the other bridal shops in Stafford and also at the one in Newport and I’m looking forward to choosing my dress from the three dresses I’ve got it down to!
If it were possible to give a zero star rating I would. This is the worse service I have ever had. We organised a fitting to make adjustments, when we got there they were closed at 3pm even though that was the time we had booked. No answer on any phone. When collecting the suit it was massively over sized but because THEY missed the appointment no changes could be made. This wasn't just one suit but at least 2 other were the same. When it came time to hand the suits back yet again they were closed when they were supposed to be open and yet again no answer on the phone. After we finally managed to get in contact they threatened us with a late charge so the next day I had make a 2 hour round trip to return the suits when they were finally open. All in all a terrible company and terrible overpriced service. Honestly go somewhere else I would never use this company ever again!
Amazing, brilliant people, and amazing value! Visit here for all your dress requests and you won't go away disappointed! Very impressed with the seemstress. Love it!
Absolutely fantastic experience with the girls here. Found my perfect dress for my wedding highly recommended. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Perfect
