"The White Rock Inn is the quintessential English country pub, with period oak beams and cosy fires, located in the village of Underriver near Sevenoaks. We are only a 5 minute drive from Knole Park and 10 minutes from Igtham Mote so why not make a day of the beautiful countryside and enjoy a relaxing lunch! We have a pretty front garden for late afternoon sunshine or a beautifully-kept rear garden with an outside bar and BBQ! There’s even enough room to tether your horse or for ramblers to enjoy a quiet pint and take in the views. More unusually, we have a Petanque piste and an area for Kentish pub game, Bat and Trap."

Great country pub with fantastic service. I went for a family meal for 5 people and we all had a roast. I had the beef which was beautifully tender and served with all the trimmings. A couple of things mainly potatoes and the Yorkshire were overdone, but still a great standard for a pub roast. The staff were the absolute highlight, however, as they were bubbly, friendly, and very attentive. They remembered my family from previous visits and were exceptionally welcoming. Overall a great experience.
Lovely country pub with a huge garden. Came here as it's the half way point on a ramble I was part of, so the perfect place for a crisp refreshing pint or two. Lots of space inside to sit, but as it was a lovely day we managed to get a seat outside. There is also a pétanque court similar to lawn bowls but unfortunately we couldn't find the equipment to play a game while we had our drinks. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, which always brings that something special to country pubs.
Amazing food and service. Haven't been here for years, but we will be back sooner next time. Roast was very moist.
Wonderful location, warm ambience, attentive and charming staff....and the food's not too shabby either!!
Without doubt the best steak and ale pie I've ever had. A proper short crust pastry pie not puff pastry lid and cut as a slice from a larger pie so it had the perfect proportion of pastry to filling. The steak was so tasty and tender and the sauce was delicious. This is exactly how a pie should be made. The pub was great - a proper pub - not too fancy - and the ale was fine. Very nice friendly service from all the bar staff. We'll be back and I hope the pie is always on the menu.
18/3/23The staff were very friendly and helpful .The food was fantastic with 2 menus to choose from and a little bit cheaper than London prices.I would recommend anyone to try this.
Just stumbled across this pub on a walk. Excellent food and service. Gorgeous location. And big bonus was how welcome they made our dog Drinks and biscuits for the whippet! The vegan chocolate tart was truly delicious
Haven’t been here for several years. Lunch today with friends was very enjoyable. Food was great and for someone with gluten and cows milk intolerances I was very impressed. Service was good and atmosphere friendly. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
Mayonnaise and ketchup were pretty off.. Don't think it's a good idea to keep them under the sun for days especially 25 degrees . The food and service was okay. Tell this answer to that person who will show up for an inspection. Good luck
