Great Sunday roast, a lot lamb, parsnip chips are very nice. Fantastic little country pub. Food are reasonable priced. Good environment to have a drink and food. Free parking next to pub. There is also a playground next to the car park.
Friendly atmosphere and staff. Great beer and well cooked food. Lovely open fire. Popular that night with locals and their dogs, which I always think is a good sign for a great pub

Visited with a large group on a wet Easter Monday. Lovely country pub, giant open fire and traditional pub food. Service and hospitality excellent.
A very good lunchtime visit. An excellent steak pie with very good vegetables. The others had copious portions of fish and chips. And a very drinkable pint.

A warm, comfortable and clean country pub. Enjoyed lunch here as a half way stop on a nearby walk. Would definitely recommend the menu has a good selection and good quality pub grub that isn't too expensive. Staff are friendly and experienced.
