First time there exlent old pub takes you back to how the pubs used to be very welcoming even the customers sees nice as we have booked a table for 2 some customer offered us a seat which is really nice ordered the drinks and then in the restaurant we ordered our food Sunday roast and I must admit it's was really nice I liked the gravy boat you can pour as much as you like I have ordered the pork and it came with some crackling which was so tasty it came with home made Apple sauce delicious .... finished it with home made lemon cheesecake lovely ... including the drinks the bill was almost 50 pounds ....3 pounds tip a voilà... will be back...
Great Beers ales well looked after, Lovely food. Staff are nice. Can't ask more more then that.
I just popped in for a quick pint, so probably need another visit to be fair. I have to say while my beer was being pulled, your food being served looked very very tasty On my next visit to Wakering, I better call in, maybe stay longer and sample your very good looking food. Sorry for my score, my first visit to your establishment, I promise to do better next time
Last traditional pub in Wakering, let's hope it stays that way and doesn't go the way of the other two pubs.

Went in for a Sunday dinner and am very impressed with the service and the quality of the food.
Such a friendly and welcoming pub. Staff are amazing and food is great. Now one of my favourite pubs.
Old fashioned style pub yay nice friendly staff and locals . Great music . Check out the Monkies wedding duo . Fantastic 80.s ska n reggae.
Good local pub with friendly staff
Visited the pub yesterday. Very pleasant beer garden. Friendly and attentive staff. Beer was great and the chips were the best I've ever tasted, and that's saying something!
