Excellent tasting food at good prices in a nice place with friendly staff. We were unlucky the heating was broken this day but this doesn’t stop me giving 5 stars just because we enjoyed it so much.
Arrived maybe at wrong time tonight.Not the staffs fault. They handled the situation out very well and kept everything under control .was slight to delay with food and drinks but understandable in the circumstances. Staff were brilliant kept everyone informed and got meals and drinks out as quickly as they could. The manager we spoke to was brilliant she deserves a drink tonight after work. Meals cooked to near perfection but kids burger was slightly burnt .we do understand as ongoing situation and all staff had to help calm the situation .we will be back again as a family .see you all again soon

Take breakfast here almost every week. Such value for money and what's best is you get to refill your coffee/tea as much as you like. Loads of food options to choose from and always a good atmosphere.
Went there for lunch. Told didnt need to book so didnt. Couldnt get a table as large area was reserved. We noticed that was for 90 mins in advance so we sat there. Food was ok and came at same time which was a bonus. You get what you pay for.. Lovely staff but would to me be my second choice. Just my opinion on how i felt on the day
Standard Wetherspoons but gets a 5 star because of the great guy with long brown hair and a knowledge on corona not the beer but the outermost part of the suns atmosphere, that works there and clearly loves his job. From one astrophysicist to another this was a greatly appreciated joke and he’s a top guy. Well done. Will come back again just for this man.
I have eaten here a couple of times, with my wife & nephew. On both occasions the food, service & attitude of the staff excellent. We shall be visiting regularly.
Does not feel or operate like a wetherspoons. It's a really quaint little pub with good pricing, never really very busy, with pleasant staff and good clientele.
One of my favourite Wetherspoon establishments, easy to park my car in the ASDA car park, and make a quick getaway from the local shoebury youths who called me batty boy for explaining what a corona the suns outermost atmosphere to my friend who thought it was a cerveza. Idiot. The food was delightful and I could order from an app so I didn’t have to face social interaction. But a very kind man bought our drinks over and made a joke about the corona. This made my day. I stayed for another 15 pints then drove home as it was so easy.
Was a lovely place to take the family for a meal. The food was good & reasonably priced the staff are also very friendly. Will definitely be going back!!
