Decent size and very well turned out room, has everything one might need. I opted for the Wellington on the specials board which was cooked to perfection and nicely presented. I had a small and admittedly late request which was no problem. There's some 'pub grub' on the menu if that's your preference and/or budget. Lovely welcoming staff, proper pub, good hotel and everything spot on....I'll be back :
My lovely friend took me out for a bday dinner. I had been there once before for sunday lunch. The Welcoming one gets and the atmosphere is just so lovely . The food is delicious can highly recommend their pavlova and I had pork tenderloin for my evening meal . Would definitely recommend coming here closed on a Monday Would also recommend booking as it is very popular. Easy to park as have their own car park yet there is also plenty of on street parking too . You wont be disappointed by far one of the best pubs to eat in the area . Food & drinks: Superb food generous portions and very varied menu. Can highly recommend their sunday lunch too and definitely treat yourself to their pavlova !

Booked in for Sunday lunch with a large group of friends, so impressed with the food and service. All dietary requirements catered for with ease, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The drinks were good too Service: 5/5
Fantastic village pub with rooms and restaurant. Also bar food and draught ales. Wonderful French influenced menu with fresh ingredients. Friendly, courteous staff and welcoming management. Great central village location with parking. Dog friendly too.Service: 5/5
Stayed overnight after going to a gig in a village nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable and we slept really well. We paid extra for breakfast and I'm glad we did. There was a selection of fruit and cereals and we also had a cooked breakfast, which was lovely. I would most definitely stay again.
I have been there 5 or 6 times never had a bad time .they are so friendly and helpful .and the food is very good
We couldn't be more pleased and Peter the owner made us so welcome. Great pub/food too. Lots of atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
