Great place for food or a drink. Lovely building and has been kept in a great condition. The food is really nice and at an acceptable price for the area. The outside decking area is very relaxing and lovely when the sun's out. Dog friendly and slightly tucked away, which adds to the charm.
Great resteraunt, was a bit loud due to a wedding party being there but it didnt change how nice the food was. Amazing meals! Their own eagle beer is great too. would definitely recommend! The desert was amazing too.
Great food and even better service! All the staff were lovely and helpful, even stopping to chat about our holiday during their rounds and suggesting new places to visit. Dog friendly inside and out, would definitely recommend booking!
What a amazing place for food, we just turned up without booking a table It's was a Monday night other nights might be different down a narrow lane but well worth it, very warm welcome and friendly. Food was amazing with a good choice of local products something for everyone . View is fantastic from verandah. Fantastic beach close by. We went back for a 2nd visit and that was even better.
Absolutely amazing food but unfortunately let down by the service. Had to ask several times for drinks and dessert menus and had to wait a while for the drinks to be made.

Fabulous place to eat! Wonderful food, great service, welcoming staff. I had the best roast pork dinner I've had in years including those I've made myself! So dog friendly it's an absolute pleasure to eat here. Worth every penny Food: 5/5
We had an exceptional time at the White Eagle. The staff made my first Mother’s Day a special one with a divine Sunday roast we had the lamb which was just delicious, followed by two generous puddings- sticky toffee pudding and creme brûlée. The service was excellent despite the restaurant being so busy, and we were made to feel very welcome with our 10 week old. Very impressed, and looking forward to coming back soon!
Good menu, very friendly staff, amazing location and view. Bad things? Only one major one, no policy on how to deal with winging clients that abuse staff kindness. On our visit a couple moaned about their meal, staff change it, they carried on moaning, staff offered alternatives, they ordered something else, carried on moaning in the presence of staff and when they were not there... Wish staff would/could just tell them to take their business elsewhere after the third attempt to please them as they were disturbing the rest of us.
