Great location, quiet and central for exploring the area. room was lovely and very clean and the bed was so comfy! staff were all very friendly and helpful especially the lady working in the restaurant on breakfasts. Breakfast was really nice with an excellent choice of unlimited food. We had a great few nights stay here and will definitely come back!
Very comfortable for a late night/one night stay. We slept well! The room did not smell fresh; smelled a bit musty, which seemed to be the shower area. I do wish we'd have known to reserve breakfast orders, but we found a good cafe in town instead. Overall great value. Rooms: Not large but ample space for 3 - one single and one double bed. Clean except for acrid smell in the bathroom area shower curtain needs sanitized?. Walkability: Not close to other businesses. Need taxi from ferry or train. NOTE: if you arrive at the station late, taxis are difficult or impossible to arrange. Food & drinks: Be sure to reserve any meals you want.
Nice clean basic room. Restaurant tends to be quite noisy due to the style of it. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Had a breakfast, but I wish I'd waited until we were on the ferry as it would have been less rushed and more relaxed. It's much better than the travel lodge.Rooms: 5/5
Great place to stay. Hotel and staff were great couldn't say a thing bad against them. Rooms were tidy and clean. Bed was comfy. Not to many tv channels but didn't have much time for that. Location not the best as it is on its own not much around. But access to A55 and surrounding areas great. Would definitely recommend and use again.Rooms: 5/5
Great stay at this business travel oriented hotel in a remote part of the country. With a good quality on-site restaurant there is no need to heed out when on a short trip. Particularly good interactions with Kirstyn, Carolyn and Karen.Rooms: 5/5
Didn't stay. Just came for the all you eat breakfast. Good value for money. £9.50 with a great choice of cooked and continental style items. With tea, coffee and juice included. I of course went for the cooked breakfast. I had the sausage, bacon, fried egg scrambled available on request, hash browns and beans. Black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, etc are also available, all cooked fresh. Everything tasted great. Staff were all attentive and polite. Couldnt really ask for a better experience, tbh. I will definitely be going back
Checked in before getting the ferry to Dublin and the team welcomed me with open arms. Caryl checked me in with great service as I struggled with the kiosks modern technology and Erin was a wonderful host for evening meal. Would highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel has improved massively since our last visit 4 months ago when the staff and food left a lot to be desired. Staff 100%, food much improved and the location excellent for access to port.Rooms: 5/5
Just enjoyed a 2 night break here. Rooms lovely and clean, shower great. Breakfast great value. The staff are really lovely - so helpful and friendly . We'll be back.Rooms: 5/5
Not as good a visit as last year, when I booked 3 rooms. I asked if it was possible for a room close to Reception as my wife had mobility issues, I received an e-mail back from I believe the DHM saying that it wouldn't be a problem and she allocated Room 2 to us. When we arrived the DHM was booking us in and gave us the key to Room 115, I mentioned to her that we had been allocated Room 2 and showed her the e-mail. To keep this short she let slip that Room 2 was occupied and couldn't see any more Twin rooms on the Ground Floor. So we had to go up to the first floor and walk halfway along the corridor to our room. Not very professional and don't get me started on the breakfast.
