This place apparently only caters to locals. Did not feel welcomed at all. Couldn’t even get a pint because the bartender said cash only. Hard to believe. Cruise passengers avoid this place. There are plenty more good pubs in the area that welcome tourists and their money. Do yourself a favor and don’t go in. Give your money to a place that appreciates it.
So went in with my assistant dog and ended up having a heated conversation how the dog was allowed in, they tried everything not to have us stay. My girlfriend ordered a baileys, no Baileys was the reply, Tia Maria then please, no Tia Maria was the reply, then the same when we asked for a glass of red wine. We got a G&T in the end. The only thing that made it worth staying for was the warm welcome from the locals especially Steven a large chap, football fan and his friends, all the boys and many thanks.
Small pub, very traditional. Clean, and tidy. Not much choice in beers but reasonably priced.Service: 4/5
Perfect place to go for a quiet drink, love it
