I made the mistake of not securing a reservation for Valentine's Day. When I called, of course they were booked, but the hostess was kind enough to tell me that the bar had 12 seats, and they opened at 5:00 with 1st come, 1st serve. We showed up at 5:00 and got a seat at the bar. Tate was our bartender, did a fantastic job with our drinks, and made us feel at home. He was busy but made sure we had what we needed, as well kept our drink full. There was plenty of parking with handicap parking available. The outside appearance was nice, and the landscape was kept up nice. The interior was clean as well as the bathrooms. Glasses, plates, and silverware were all clean. The food was phenomenal!! I had Beef Tartare and Duck Breast both for the first time and was amazingly delicious. I will be back, and I do recommend this restaurant. Thanks for the great first-time experience.
Our party of 6 dined here last year and had a wonderful dining experience so we came again this year. Our dinner last night was excellent. Cocktail and wine offerings are very good. I had the wedge salad and prime 14 ounce NY Strip steak. The wedge was delicious and the steak was outstanding. Most everyone else in our group had the beef tenderloin and raved about them. My wife had the salmon and said it was superb. I was the only one that had a desert, the warm chocolate cake, and it was great! Overall the service was very good, our food cooked perfectly and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Always an amazing experience at Langdon's! Get the Chef's Inspiration for daily deliciousness. You can't ever go wrong with one of their Steaks and their Oysters Rockefeller are the best I've ever had.
Our server Israel was attentive, informative and kind! Our dinner was perfection, out of this world amazing! Love that we are local and live 10 mins away! Literally loved everything. The wine, the oysters, the steak Omggggg the strip steak the company love my husband still 17 years later : all simply outstanding My husband loved his pasta also! The only thing I’m mad about is that it took us 15 months of living here to try this hidden gem! Best steak in Charleston I promise!
Langdon's is one of the experiences to be saved for very special occasions or more often if you can!. The menu cobtains all the Low Country specialities - fish, oysters, shrimp and grids, and meat. We opted for meat - a 9 ounce centre cut fillet and a 14 ounce New York Strip. I am still smiling thinking about the flavors of a perfectly cooked steak. The meat was served with greenbeans and mash potato. To finish a perfect meal, we ordered Creme Brulé, which was another experience. Our server, Eric, was assisted by all the serving staff, which made the evening perfect.

We have eaten here many times and had good food and experience. Last night was an exception. Sitting at the bar, we asked to split our main course. When the food came, the food was not split, and we were given a clean plate to divide ourselves. My error was assuming they would make the spit and add the sides. I would have been more than happy to pay an additional fee. Even so, our bill for the meal was over $200, and this service needed to be better.
The room is pretty and the staff attentive and friendly. We ordered oysters to start $27 for 6. We also ordered the soup which was delicious! We looked at each other and knew there wasn’t room for 2 full meals, decided to split a steak and sides $60. Had a couple of glasses of wine. Everything was wonderful. Now our issue: when we told our server we wanted to split the stake not being cheap already spent around $150..we told sever, no need to split, we would just share ourselves. We were told, please let kitchen split it, it will look much prettier for you, we agreed. Then the bill came; $6 to split and $5 for using our credit card. Look, we weren’t looking for the early bird special, we spent a fare amount. Just felt cheapened by the offer to split when we didn’t want it and than charging to do so.. +$5 .. just felt off

I really enjoyed dinner here. Service was great, server was attentive and the manager walked around as well. We tried the steak with lobster and the duck breast. There was a soft shell crab over polenta appetizer special going on, so we tried that too. Very delicious! Great ambiance for a romantic or celebratory dinner.
