Amazing view over Ludlow. Only a short walk into town or go the other way for a walk into the woods. Gently sloping field with level hard standing pitches. Toilets and showers were nice and clean, as well as the dish washing facilities. There are horses in the fields surrounding which are used for riding lessons if booked. I will definitely stay again.

Handy for walking into Ludlow but it's better to be reasonably fit as there are some steep hills. Camp site has basic facilities but with great views over Ludlow and the castle.

Basic campsite but beautiful views looking down on Ludlow.
Friendly and helpful staff peacefull and very cheap rates

Lovely views over Ludlow, easy enough to find. I thought the facilities were fine. They aren't catering for the masses so no,  there isn't a swimming pool etc. It's a traditional farm type campsite.  I was in a tent but most that use the site are caravans / camper vans which usually have their own toilet therefore 1 toilet and 1 shower per gender, plus the additional toilet at the top of the camping field is more than enough. The owners were very friendly and nice to us - I usually find people are if you're friendly back. Plus the black farm cat is adorable and likes a stroke. We'd come back,  it's a great spot to explore Ludlow and south Shropshire
