This is a lovely site came Easter Sunday and the site was full so not much choice. But come Monday we were on our own for the rest of our stay lovely and quiet up on the top field by the dog walk. It was nice to sit outside and do of my knitting and crocheting. The wardens lovely and friendly. This was a lovely enjoyable stay.
We had a great long weekend here, nice walk to the Abbey. Site is really well laid out, limited facilities but really helpful staff. I had a problem with van lights and the warden was straight over to see what the trouble was. Handy for Shrewsbury. Would definately go there again
A wonderfully kept woodland site that just oozes peace and tranquillity. Blessed with the late September sunshine, we enjoyed the woodland walks, took in the ruins of Hammond Abbey but more importantly just relaxed on our spacious grass pitch. If your planning a trip to Ebury and booking on grass remember to bring some levellers, some of the pitches are a little uneven in places. Although there are no facilities, it doesn’t distract that this is such a great site which I think benefits from it!
Perfect for a get away from it all couple of days or more. Lovely couple run the site and is a Camping and Caravan Club site for members only. Well kept site with plenty of wildlife about. Based on an old quarry and is on two levels. Very good and reasonable rates. You need your own facilities as toilets and showers not available. Certainly a site I'll use again.
Site is basic but clean, tidy and friendly staff. Fishing was abysmal, green algae and very weedy bottom plus NO carp caught or seen in several weeks. Probably the worst fishing lake on a caravan site anywhere. Needs TLC and stocking with fish, or advertising as a duck pond
Very quiet on a old Hill Fort in Woods. Lovely tranquil views. 3 miles from shewsbury. Stores couple miles away. 100 pitches. Grass or Electrical. Hard standing is mostly for permanent Caravans. Wildlife as well. Depending on season. Staying again 22. Site has Many wild Rabbits . And bird life. Now 2022. You can only pitch in the Quarry area, or Rabbit field with afew Tree's.
Absolutely amazing place. So peaceful and quiet. Good for families and dogs. This is definitely one of our favourite site's. Can't wait to upload my video vlog to YouTube.
Lovely site nice and quiet
Very friendly welcome and a pretty site. We'll kept and clean. Love the Ducks and Rabbits down near the pond especially.
Lovely site, staff friendly, love the fact it feels right in the countryside, will be going back.
