While we all know the state of the health Service could you do their job ? My wife was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma terminal Brain Tumour in late August 21 if you get to 18 mths you've done very well and she is now in Vale Court Nursing Home can I say that in the intervening time Whitby Group Doctors Nurses and staff couldn't have done more for us in a world where excellence is expected and no one says thank I would like to say thank you thank you thank you and give all of you 5 because you deserve itnMany many thanksnnJohn Kinsey
I can say nothing but amazing things for this practise. The reception staff are helpful and go above and beyond to find appointments. Dr Bianco is absolutely wonderful lovely manner and professional. The nurse practitioners are very thorough.nThere is no doubt this surgery is under immense pressure, however from my experience they help wherever possible. Be kind to our NHS.
DR WHITBY refused my prescription that my ms specialist wants me on which I have been taking for years. This medication is addictive which he knows and is leaving me a week with no medication knowing how ill I will be. My neurologist is gob smacked at the MEDICAL NEGLECT and knowing how ill I would be and have every right to sue him! There's absolutely no reason for him not to give it to me when my specialist doctor wants me to take and iv been taken it for years with no problems. With my specialist doctors for backing I will be sueing.nnAlso nicky on reception one of the rudest people iv ever spoke to and needs to be sacked. From looking at these review I'm not the only one that's thinking that.
I have been waiting 2 days for a perscription,nnI had an appointment on 23/05 @ 3pm, the doctor prescribed medication to help with the pain pending a sample. I requested it be sent to Asda, however after over 1 hr. waiting then a further visit they could NOT locate the prescription. I called back this morning at 8.03am. I was advised that the doctor had not signed the prescription and it would be signed and resent to Great Sutton at my request and be ready for 12pm, after a further 1hr and two visits it has still NOT been sent. I dropped my sample off today 24/05 @ 12.45pm and the prescription is still not ready and has NOT been signed and there was no one that could sign my prescription for me. What happened to the days of a printed or written prescription. Your system is clearly flawed. Not only has it cost my time and effort, my work has picked up the bill for my absence, the staff at two pharmacies have been taken away from their tasks searching for a prescription that was never there and Whitby Health Partnership has had two receptionists and two doctors looking at one prescription. See how that one small mistake has cost!nnThe days of DR Burgess are no longer whilst I was in the practice another patient was complaining regarding a prescription and a telephone call then never happened!! The service levels have dropped considerably
I’ve been with this practice 15 years.I wouldn’t call them for minor ailments that I could treat with the help of a pharmacist, but have called and been seen by a doctor when I have been genuinely unwell. Dr Hardie and Dr Soe have always gone above and beyond for myself and my husband. Great Practice with great staff.
